In her own words ☞ Nicolle Wallace ~ about Sarah Palin
The HBO movie Game Change debuted this weekend. After watching it, I felt compelled to find a source that outlined Nicolle Wallace’s version of the events ~ something in her own words. So, here is one such source ~ a video of a presentation that Nicolle Wallace gave on March 30, 2011 at Rutgers University. It is entitled Life in the White House: Fact or Fiction (the entire video can be viewed from this link). The following are excerpts from this video which pertain to the McCain/Palin campaign. Fasten your seat belts.

What a self-serving joke. This is a friend of Katie Couric, from their days together at CBS. She is the one that burdened Palin with the perky one who buzzed around the campaign for days doing nothing but trying to find weakness. This woman is a trollip of politics, covering her own failure. Loathesome, vomitious.

What a disgusting person Wallace is, to intentionally continue to try and Damage Palin, blame Palin for the cloths, and take the credit for the great speech, this women is sickening. Looking at Palin and all she has accomplished before the campaign and since, her accomplishments speak volumes 2 best selling books, leading the greatest midterm election win in 80 years, it is obvious who should be admired and honored, Sarah Palin. Nicolle Wallace and Shmitty will be long forgotten, while Sarah Palin like other greats will be remembered and honored.

In the clips shown above, Wallace goes out of her way to give credit to Palin for Palin’s good points. If Wallace wasn’t there for the clothes, she wasn’t there. Others did write the convention speech Palin delivered so well. Why wander off into generalized damning of Wallace and generalized praise of Palin? Why not address in posts what was said in the video clips? Constantly berating anyone who isn’t a fan of Palin’s doesn’t add credibility to your posts.

Thanks for your comment. The intent of this post was to have a venue for people to hear Nicolle Wallace’s own words about that period of time. She did praise Palin, and also she showed her true colors. Wallace is a liberal. That in itself is only the reason for the point. The McCain campaign made a big mistake hiring her and she comes out looking very mercenary because of her own behavior. So, the clips review the good, the bad, and the ugly of her time with the McCain/Palin campaign. The ugliest part is her shameful backpedaling for her own sake. Certainly we differ on our opinion of Palin’s politics. The scrutiny here is all about commitment, loyalty, and honesty.

Unbelievable… Would you hire this woman? Also sounds like she should would have been happier working for Hillary Clinton or Obama. Explains a lot…

Thanks for the terrific video. I admire Nicole Wallace for having the courage to speak up for herself and tell the truth about working with Sarah Palin. Many people who have also worked with Sarah Palin seem to tell a very similar story. Nicole Wallace is definitely a Republican that deserves admiration. Sarah Palin has been a a cancer to the Republican party. That much should be painfully obvious by now!

I disagree. Thanks for commenting. You express your disagreement with strong language. But that’s OK..it stings when you’re talking about someone I support, but it is very much appreciated that you avoided the hate-speech we dread on both sides.

If the scrutiny here is all about commitment, loyalty and honesty then you should have really found fault with Sarah Palin. She was not fully committed to McCain’s campaign, she refused to take responsibility for her campaign gaffes, and instead blamed campaign staffers or the lame stream media. After the Vice Presidential debate she made statements to the press that were damaging to the McCain campaign. Her refusal to stay on message gave the impression to voters that the team was dysfunctional. The ugliest part was Palin’s shameful disregard for McCain’s campaign, the national spotlight was obviously more important to her than the campaign. I commend Wallace for standing up for herself and refusing to let Sarah Palin throw her under the bus, she shouldn’t have to accept the blame for Palin’s mistakes. Palin’s behavior was petty and vindictive and not presidential.

Though I disagree with you on every point, you seem like a thoughtful person who I’d love to sit down with and have a lively exchange. Please read more about Sarah Palin and continue to listen to her, even if it doesn’t change your mind. If it reinforces your opinions, then that we just have a difference. I would respectfully ask you to watch the documentary “The Undefeated”. Thanks for your comment.
